| Amethyst Drift Mining Ref: am We source our Brazilian Amethyst direct from the mines in Rio de Grande. Amethyst caves and druze are mined using the drift mine method this causes minimal impact to the environment compared to open cast mining methods. Pictured is the entrance to a mine I visited on a recent buying trip.
